In response to the article about Garrett Phillips (“Why No News On Murder?” Nov. 30-Dec. 7), thumbs up to you. We are all fed up with the officials dragging their feet. Let me tell you that this little boy was loved by all who knew him and is greatly missed. Do we have to face another holiday with no answers or closure? It seems to me that it’s more important to set up stings at bars or of drug pushers than the murder of a 12-year-old. Are our children safe on the streets or even their own homes? To the person who wrote in to Sound Off, kudos to you for doing what we are all thinking. Let’s hope and pray we get some answers by Christmas.
