In response to “VA Clinic Not Impressive” which appeared in the Sept. 5-11 issue of North Country This Week and “Poor Service at VA Clinic” which was in the Sept. 12-17 issue of: I can relate to the one from Sept 12 because I had the same problem with a nurse that I was trying to get answers from in July. My question was why it had been 10 days since I had requested a medication renewal and nothing had been done about getting the medication ordered. I had been taking this medication for months so it wasn't a new request. I have to call every month for it. The nurse was very rude in telling me they had only one provider and hung up on me. Now it is Oct. 30. I called to request this same medication on Oct. 21 with three follow up calls and I still haven't received the medication. This is how they are taking care of the veterans? I urge all veterans to voice problems they have had or are currently having at the VA Clinic. It's time to step up for what we have earned.
