What a farce! We elect people into office because we think they will do a good job for us, the residents of Potsdam. Instead, all they care about is themselves and the colleges. We vote on issues and vote it down and they do it anyway. They keep spending and spending and get us so far in debt that they need to borrow and borrow. Why are they not held accountable for the extremely poor job they are doing. If we performed at our jobs the way they are in theirs we would be fired, and they need to be fired as well. If they re-evaluated all the positions they could probably cut several high paying jobs that would cut down on our debt. When you have to borrow to make payroll, that's pretty bad. The biggest flub up is the hydro plant. Heads should have rolled on that project. Wake up people and stand up for our rights as taxpayers and make our officials accountable for their actions.
