We were out at dinner at one of the finer restaurants in the area and I was reminded of something I had read a few weeks back in your column about unruly children. A group of older adults were very loud and quite obnoxious in the restaurant and we had no choice but to listen. Not sure who they thought they were amusing but it was obnoxious. As usual there is always one loud-mouthed ringleader who was the most vocal. It made us very uncomfortable and I was glad to leave and did not enjoy my meal at all having to listen to them. Who do they think they are after all? Most of the men were overweight and the wives were all frumpy yet they were so quick to make fun of other people. Must be nice to think of yourselves as perfect.
