More and more homeowners are under threat with the county making it easier for themselves to take possession of your property for unpaid taxes. The legislature seems to think they have more of a right to your property than you have a right to shelter for your family. Thus they are stealing from you, all residual equity that has been built up for said property. It is my opinion that the defaulted home owner should have the right to sue the county for the lost of equity of said property, since the equity value would be greater than the taxes owed to the county. Better yet lets abolish the county government thus doing away with the need for property taxes in the first place. Homeowners: rise up protect your homes and demand the end of homes being confiscated, and lets have a referendum for abolishing county government, thus ending the property tax.
