School budgets are once again hot new topics. It seems the only solution anyone can come up with is to take away important curriculum from our children or eliminate more staff, when they are working with the bare minimum as it is. We’re even at the point where students are saying enough already and planned a strike about the proposed cut. Why doesn’t anyone talk about the real issue…the unions. If we truly care about our children’s education we need to phase unions out. In this day and age when there are so many labor laws there is truly no need for unions any longer and the public can’t afford to pay for healthcare and retirements for life. Please join the rest of us and pay for your fair share. Be the hero in our children’s lives. How many of your colleagues are you willing to sacrifice so that you can keep your benefits.
