Shame on the Executive Management and elected officials for letting the turf sit empty at Potsdam Central School while two modified soccer games were going on this past Monday (Oct. 3) and Wednesday (Oct. 5). I’m sure the football teams practiced earlier in the day. However, to see two games being played on the grass fields at 4:30 p.m. and look over to see a beautiful turf complex sit empty during day light hours is a sin. There is zero excuse for this to occur. Games should be played on the turf over a practice. It was noticed not only by the kids, parents but also officials. I hope that someone steps up to the plate to make sure this doesn’t happen again and that it was just a “one time” oversight. That complex needs to be utilized.
