As a mother of a child with food allergies it’s saddening that more people don’t take on the idea of passing out non-food items for trick-or-treating. While we go for the fun of it since he can’t eat any of the candy it’s still kind of heartbreaking. Hopefully this year more people will pass out some other options instead of candy.
