In response to “Emerald Ash Borer Moving Closer to SLC” in the June 10-16 issue of North County This Week: Ash trees have been under attack for years and all but two of 30 planted had died from the borer's diseases and had to be removed. Perhaps EAB is a new one, but I don't see what the concern is about it since our trees have been decimated several years ago. Very willing to listen to any explanations in the opinion section.
