Why is the town of Potsdam using the town equipment and employees to pick up the village residencies trash and leaves? What is wrong with the landowners taking care of their own garbage or paying for trash pickup themselves like everyone else has to? That is outrageous and the cost to the town is enormous. I recently followed a village truck to the dump site with a load of leaves and by the time he arrived to the gate, the truck was only half full because the wind blew the rest all over the roadway. Does this make any sense? Pick them up in one place and scatter them along the road at the taxpayers expense? No wonder the taxes are so high in Potsdam.
