I feel I need to express my dismay at the deteriorating professional environment at one of our local universities. My family has grown roots here, we love the North Country but a toxic administrative atmosphere has developed over the past couple of years. I love the students, I love my job, but I can no longer tolerate the mismanagement of this institution. Though granted tenure I will begin searching for another opportunity elsewhere unless, by some miracle, things turn around. Right now I don’t have a lot of hope and I know I am not alone.
