In response to “Common Sense,” I find your comments quite negative and insulting. Despite push from NRA and gun enthusiasts, not everyone like you suggest, thinks that Safe Act needs to go. You make mention that we need to look at the real reason these insane mass shootings occur. What do you then think the reason is? And what suggestions do you have, more guns? Do you not think that gun owners have a responsibility to properly secure a gun that is registered to them only? Sorry but our country needs gun control laws and I am tired of being quiet listening to Anti SAFE Act sentiment. Perhaps many people stay quiet because opponents have guns and become quite irrational and fear what may happen if you decide to take the law into your own hands. Furthermore, get over it already, gays and lesbians have every right of any other American including marriage.
