In response to “Stay Home with Your Kids,” just because we work does not mean we don’t spend time with our kids. I am a single mom and have to work to provide for my child. Yes I have nice things, but not fancy things. And believe it or not, kids do need money. How do you pay for the clothes on their backs, the food they eat, activities they like to do? My child gets way more time with me than an hour here or there after work and on weekends. Trash parents for working all you want, but the money has to come from somewhere. I would rather work for what we have than be someone who takes advantage of public assistance.
