Thanks for kindness

I attended the stunning performance of the Verdi Requiem by the Crane School of Music April 28 with my boyfriend and my mother, who has a great deal of trouble walking and uses a cane. We were unfortunately running late, and arrived with only five minutes to go to find that there were nearly no seats left on the main floor, and no elevator to the balcony. We located a single open seat for my mother and were prepared to go to the balcony, when the two lovely men sitting next to the open seat offered their seats to us so that we could sit with her. I just wanted to say thank you for your kindness and generosity in that moment. It meant a lot to my mother not to have to sit by herself. I realize we should have been there earlier, but it was truly lovely of you to give up your seats for us. I will, of course, pay your kindness forward, and hope that the next time you are in need, someone else does something just as kind for you. Thank you!
