I am a homeowner in Massena and I pay three taxes totaling $ 4,549.07. This is with water and sewer. My question is how is this justified when our streets are in so disrepair? I don’t mind paying my share, but I am probably going to lose my home that I love due to the extreme tax rates. I can only warn future homeowners to make sure you investigate what you can be expected to pay. And yes the politicians will want to raise the taxes in 2015; just wait It will happen. Didn’t we vote to raise the sales tax to take the burden off the homeowners?
