As a state certified English teacher I too am disheartened by the appearance of spelling errors in local publications. Even so, the author of the Sound Off piece entitled ‘Too Many Errors’ (Oct. 27-Nov. 2) could stand to follow a little of their own advice: I found three spelling errors and four punctuation errors in that piece alone.
