When the village or state placed pavers in various areas such as at the intersections of Clarkson Avenue and Maple Street and Pierrepont and Main Street, I thought it was a nice improvement to the village of Potsdam, but now a couple of years later, it seems that the weeds growing between the pavers are quite unattractive giving the village an unkempt look. I would suggest either pulling the weeds or killing them with some type of weed killer. No matter what the improvement, there is usually maintenance.
