In response to “Work Breaks,” either the person inquiring about the law on work breaks misunderstood the information provided by the person answering her question or was given a bad answer. If you own a computer, you can look up the Federal or the NY State wage and hour laws online and get the correct information. Some breaks are paid time and some unpaid time. But breaks are required during a certain number of work hours. This includes rest breaks and meal breaks.
