Our taxes are so high and out of control because our elected officials in Albany have $850,000 to spend on a bathhouse for a few campers at a state park in Colton. That must be some swanky bathhouse! There is a public rest room outside of Syracuse south bound on Interstate 81 that has been closed now for several years because the state doesn’t have the operating expense to keep it open. This inconveniences thousands of travelers a day. Our “officials” in Albany just don’t have any common sense when it comes to spending our dwindling hard earned tax dollars.
