Supporting the public

I was in a convenience store recently and the woman ahead of me purchased several junk food items, including “name brand” ice cream with her EBT card. Then she took a $20 bill and purchased $2 scratch-off lotto tickets with that. She was dressed in designer clothes and had several tattoos; which can run from $30 to over $100. My question is to all the other working class fools like myself who are buying generic ice cream and no lotto tickets...why are we continuing to support these people so well? Enough is enough.
