I don't understand the whole if a criminal has a gun shoot him/her to kill. Why can’t they shoot the person in the hand that is holding the gun? Or if the person is running from them shoot them in the leg. If you have a license plate and know who is driving why do you need to enter into a high-speed chase? Why not send the person a ticket later or wait until the person has stopped? Why add to the danger? I understand some officers do their job the way they are supposed to and some don't. Cops are feared by children because they see on TV on the news and in the papers that cops killing people. Why do they have to kill? Why do criminals have to take out their hate for one person on an innocent cop? Not all cops are bad and not all criminals are dangerous. This whole killing each other needs to stop!
