Stop all services in St. Lawrence County that are not mandated by federal or state law! Meals on Wheels is a fine example, so are the congregate meal programs, of programs that should be cut! I am a senior citizen. Why should my taxes continue to go up to feed people who are too lazy to prepare meals, too lazy to join social/church groups to be involved and socialize or waste their food stamps and never planned on providing for their golden years by saving money in their working years. Stop all freebies!
