We have seen a lot of local news headlines about Elise Stefanik recently, most of which without any real substance. Recently it was announced that she voted on a funding bill, $40 billion for Department of Homeland Security, $10.7 billion for Customs and Border Protection, $6 billion for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, $750 million for 'cybersecurity operations.' It is great that she is voting to create an unstoppable militarized police force with no oversight, but what do the people that voted for her think she is doing for the rest of us?
