Stay in your lane

When you have something in your lane of the road you are supposed to take action so that no one gets injured but it does not mean you have the right to enter the opposite lane. Whether it is a bicycle, someone walking or an Amish buggy you do not have the right to enter the other lane and force others off the road. I saw it today when a pickup truck came up behind an Amish buggy and did not slow down until he saw the school bus coming which prevented him from just forcing the other oncoming vehicle off the road just so he didn’t have to slow down. It was way too close for comfort for the people in the buggy. The truck was less than five feet from striking the buggy. Stop being in a hurry, it may save a life. The Amish have a right to travel our roads just like your child or grandchild has walking or biking the roads.
