My family and I took a drive to cape Vincent on Route 12 on Saturday. We stopped at every scenic view pull off to look at the mighty St. Lawrence River just to see the view blocked by trees and over grown brush. We could hardly see the river or its islands. We also stopped in Alex Bay, and went to its scenic view park and it was the same thing. More trees blocking the great views people drive from all over to look at. They even planted trees right in front of the most fantastic view on the river, Boldt castle. It makes no sense at all.
