The writer of the “Cut Excess Employees” (Nov. 21-27) is right on target. We live in the poorest county with the highest unemployment rate in the highest taxed state in the nation and the Nov. 20 Courier-Observer front page headline reads “County Budget Hikes Property Taxes 13.5 percent.” Almost unbelievable and very disgusting. Wake up so called county leaders and cut the spending. There are simply too many feeders at the county public trough for the rest of us to support.
