In response to “Poor Teachers,” how is it that teachers quite often catch the brunt of public complaints because of how much they make? Need I remind you that these teachers have master’s degrees? Stop and think, these are the people who are trusted to teach and mold our children into productive people in our society. If you want to complain about something, complain about the thousands and thousands of dollars that are wasted on sports. Ask yourself what the payoff is. Out of all the years there has been sports in our communities, what percentage have gone through college on a sports scholarship? What percentage of those went on to the NBA, NFL, NHL or MLB? Stop complaining about teacher’s salaries and start questioning why you and so many others place a higher value on stupid sports.
