In response to “Need for socialized care,” look around the parking lots at the malls and stores and see how many Canadians are over here shopping. They are here to avoid paying the value added tax, or GST, that is placed on their goods to pay for their great healthcare. The same thing is just waiting to be introduced here to pay for the wonderful new and improved “Obamination” here. How much of a percentage rate (10 percent? 20 percent? 30 percent?) value added tax on our goods might get through the fog that you are walking around in? To the ones that think socialized healthcare doesn’t have a financial cost to the rest of the populist, you better think again.
