Every year it is the same thing: my mailbox gets hit by the DOT plow truck. I guess I don't understand how, since my mailbox (which meets the regulations from the post office meaning how many feet it needs to be off the road) is hit. There is a curb before my mailbox. If you are going to continuously hit it every year then DOT should be held accountable and pay for a new one. Last year on the main road in Brasher 15 mailboxes were hit in less than a 1 1/2 miles.
