I’ve been reading a lot of comments about the Taser incident here in Waddington. As far as I can tell, the officers never told her why they took her I.D. I have been stopped several times and never even asked to see my ID In fact, several times I run out without it! I am a 50 something white woman and have never been asked to pull over. Never even asked to show my ID. However, there are very different outcomes for someone near and dear to me who gets pulled over all the time for the truck he drives. He has a dark complexion. He was even pulled over for doing 35 in a 30.Really? So this young woman seemed uncooperative, but maybe because she was being singled out. With the last name Cooke....think about it. I feel the officers used excessive force, absolutely!
