You always hear from local businesses how important it is to shop local. Support your local Mom and Pop business. Well, I for one will shop where I get the best price as well as quality. I don’t feel that shopping a chain grocery store is really shopping local. I shop the big box grocery store for staples which are always low prices or wait for the chain grocery store to have a sale. Eating out is the same way, do I support the chain restaurants or fast food places? Lately, I find that the service is better from the chains then it is with the Mom and Pop places. Competition is a good thing. It also raises awareness that maybe, just maybe we have been getting gouged all along. Maybe local places need to step up to the plate and stand by their products and customer service. It is my hard earned money and I shall shop where I can get the best prices as well as service!
