I agree with the Sound Off “What Does God Think?” where writer wondered if there were a God with all the killing between Christians and Muslims. I asked our pastor this once and he gave me the standard double speak answer that God has a plan and he's watching us slaughter each other senselessly. Myself, I couldn't accept this as a good reason for war and killing and bombing! I have to start to doubt it now, no God no matter how good, could stand by and watch this go on for so long too so many who have suffered.
