State Sen. Patty Ritchie is asking the public to weigh in on schools in northern New York through her 2013 school survey launched this week.
Ritchie represents northern St. Lawrence County, including Ogdensburg, Canton and Gouverneur.
The survey covers topics from school safety to curriculum and is available online at www.ritchie.nysenate.gov.
Ritchie will use the survey to gather public opinion and ideas for use in the next legislative session.
“I plan on taking the feedback from this survey and using it to build upon work we have done to improve our state aid formula and ensure our rural and upstate schools get the resources they need to provide top notch educational opportunities for our region’s students,” Ritchie said.
The responses will be shared on Ritchie’s website.
