Now we know the real reason that Norwood-Norfolk Central School doesn't want its teachers rated with Common Core results. The school is ranked 268th out of 431 upstate districts (http://northcountrynow.com/news/potsdam-canton-schools-ranked-tops-three-county-region-clifton-fine-parishville-hopkinton-rated). Maybe teacher salary should be tied to school results. With more than half of the schools ahead of them maybe we should pay them half of their salary. I am sure that the teachers union will say big business is the cause of all of this but the truth is they are making a profit on poor performance with money out of the pockets of their neighbors.
