While riding my bicycle in the town of Potsdam, I have encountered several episodes of motorists yelling at me to get off the road. Bicycles are vehicles too, and are required by law to ride with traffic if there is no bike lane present. And with the numerous street parking in Potsdam, bicyclists need to stay enough in the traffic lane to avoid being struck by opening doors. We are also required to signal and use appropriate turning lanes. Thank you for sharing the road with bicyclists, and please ride/drive safe this summer.
