In reply to “Students Not So Rude in Canton,” (Feb. 20 – Feb. 26) neither person writing in about the students crossing the streets stated that the students had “puffed out his chest” or had “thrown “F” bombs.” And you are correct; students walking around is normal on “any college campus.” The problem is that Park Street, as well as every other street in Canton, is not a college campus. They are county routes and highways. People crossing the streets, not just students, need to be mindful that someone might be distracted while driving or unable to see them due to poor lighting. It’s ridiculous how no one seems to have respect for vehicles anymore.
