I would like to say how rude the HEAP department is. I work 8-3 and have tried to call them on my 15-minute break and half hour lunch and only get a busy signal. When I got home from work at 3 p.m., I called for 45 minutes straight (hung up, called back, hung up, called back). Finally got through around 4 p.m., was on hold for a hour just for them to hang the phone up on me at 5 p.m. Nice service. I didn’t want to have to call for emergency HEAP, but the weather isn’t helping us any. I don’t get any other help from them but the HEAP and can’t ever get through to them. They need more than one line for people to call to help the people that do work and don’t have all day to call and be on hold. They also should have an answering machine so they can return phone calls for the working people.
