Over the past year, I have read many “Sound-Off” comments regarding the rudeness of college students, Pep Band participants and young people in general in and around Potsdam. On Monday, however, it wasn’t the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, college students, or PCS marching band being rude. It was a group of more than eight adults. During the Memorial Day ceremony in Ives Park, this group of adults found it necessary to talk, and laugh very loudly for the entire ceremony. Did you not see all of us looking at you in disgust? Why did you find it appropriate to carry on during a Ceremony remembering those that have died for our Country? I find your behavior more than rude. It was shameful and disrespectful.
