This is just ridiculous. I drove to the Syracuse airport last week from Canton and it only took 2 hours and 15 minutes.
That included two brief stops and a short “detour” around Pulaski. Route 11 could certainly use some upgrading (turn lanes would be a good added feature) but serves just fine.
When traveling South, you need only travel Route 11 for about an hour and then you are on Interstate 81.
This idea that a four-lane interstate is needed here is about as smart an idea as the moon colony proposed by Newt Gingrich.
