Here are some facts that some on the right doesn’t like to hear. Most polls showed that the health care act didn’t go far enough, because they wanted a public option. So some were against it because of that. Concerning the national debt, in the last 40 years starting with Reagan, under 3 Republican presidents, they ran up the debt $9 trillion, all of a sudden now Republicans make debt a big deal. When Bush came into office, Clinton had created 23 million jobs and we had a surplus budget plus the rest of the debt would have been paid off over the next 10 years if not for the Bush tax cuts. The downturn started in 2007 when we started losing jobs, up to 700,000 a month, while Bush bailed out the banks. Obama’s stimuli saved a lot of jobs and we are gaining but not fast enough. Getting Bin Laden was crucial but he wasn’t in Iraq. We were lied into a war that wasn’t even paid for. Saddam was never a threat to us. Obama saved us from a Depression.
