I think St. Lawrence County lawmakers need to rethink the law allowing fireworks on July 4 and New Years. Fireworks and drinking don’t mix! I witnessed many times over the 4th of July weekend, people drinking and setting off fireworks, which where not controlled flying through the air into bushes and towards houses and cars. I am grateful that nobody was hurt but what is it going to take; someone to get injured or killed? St. Lawrence County legislators: please revoke this law before something tragic happens.
