In response to the recent NCNow.com survey question about requiring Amish to have orange triangles on their buggies: I am very disappointed in the results. More than three out of four people who I know, meet or may encounter believe that the Amish’ religious beliefs mean nothing, and they should be forced to festoon their vehicles? How many people do you know who are such bad drivers that they wouldn’t see something as big as a horse and buggy nearly all of the time? Let’s grow up and return some dignity, pride and respect to our community.
