Well, it has surprised me how many people were disturbed by my choice to make a donation to African famine relief instead of giving out candy on Halloween. Two things to clarify: (1.) I make very little money. I make less money than some high school kids with part time jobs. (2.) Halloween candy is NOT charity, so stop calling it that. The suggestion that I am trying to draw attention to myself or pat myself on the back is obnoxious. In case you haven’t noticed this is an anonymous forum, so you self-rightous fools don’t know who I am, nor does anyone else. If I were trying to draw attention to myself, I would have signed my name. I was trying to draw attention to the horrific famine in East Africa and the millions starving right now. Wake up!
