We’re entering a New Year, and I would like to suggest that we keep those who are less fortunate in the forefront of our hearts throughout the year. There are many struggling day to day to keep food on their tables, warm in their homes, and may not have transportation or adequate resources for what they need. We may give extra during the Christmas season, but then it is over and it easy to forget the needy. I hope we can all help any elderly, disabled, or young person in need once in awhile. We all get tired and have bad days, but practice some kindness and caring every day and the rewards will be many. Each of us is basically alone, but to reach out in caring can ease the isolation we may feel inside and make someone’s day better.
