School starts this week. Let's remind children and teens in our lives to be kind to everyone at school and on the bus this year, especially those students who are less fortunate financially, academically, and/or socially. Simple things like smiling, saying hello, and inviting someone to sit down can make a big difference. As the saying goes, “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." Perhaps we adults could use this reminder as well.
