If there is no money for the Potsdam Recreation Program, this is a really easy problem to solve with two solutions. Recreation is very important to our kids and very much needed. Let’s shut down the dam project that has cost us more money that we will ever get back, once it’s working, that is! I guess it is already shut down. Stop putting any more of our money into it and see it to someone that knows what they are doing. Whoever is responsible for the failed dam project should be held responsible. In addition, our recreation program supports the recreation for kids from other towns. They should pay more to participate than someone within our town and village. There are many kids in the minor hockey program and figure skating organizations that are not even from the village or town of Potsdam! They need to pay more to participate in our tax funded recreation program.
