I recently read an article from North Country Now regarding the closing of a restaurant in Canton, being SLU students’ fault...probably not! I love ethnic food, what we need in our area is a restaurant with real ethnic spanish food which in my opinion, does not exist here. I have had the pleasure of enjoying real spanish food and let me tell you, The Spicy Iguana was real good food, but lacking in the real spanish flair. We have enough Mexican restaurants around here and they are really all the same. Most students from all four colleges are from areas that offer a large variety of ethnic foods, and anything we do way up here, well, is fair at best. I feel that any restaurant with good atmosphere, good service and great food will survive. Heck, in my opinion of course, we can’t even make good pizza here... forget a real spanish restaurant!
