In Reply to “Noise Pollution” (Sound Off, Jan. 25-31) I would just like to say that this letter was very rude to our military and that this is in fact where the military practice and you chose to live here. Also I would rather have them use fuel than going over to war unprepared and inexperienced. If you think this is a “war zone” then maybe you should go overseas to a place where bombs are dropping and you hear gunfire all night and see how well you sleep then. It’s not “games” they are doing in the air, it’s strategies to dodge other aircrafts in war. It makes me feel like we are protected when I lay my head to sleep because I know that my military is keeping us safe and will be ready when the time comes.
