It amazes me that every one is yelling about cuts to their jobs and their salaries, etc., however, no one seems to be complaining about the fact that most politicians make more in a month than some people do in a year. I don’t see where they have cut themselves, but I do see that they keep increasing their salaries and benefits. I would think, if all politicians would scale back their salaries 10-20 percent, that a lot of the debt in local, state and national governments could be eliminated. You can’t tell me that any of these politicians is worth that much. I personally don’t think that politicians should be paid at all. It’s a voluntary choice that they have made. I know as a volunteer, I don’t get paid. Love to hear other people’s opinions on this.
