I also agree with the “Police Driving unsafely” (North Country This Week July 18-24) complaint. Why do they have the right to yield at a stop sign when any one else would be ticketed? Especially considering, as the Sheriff SUV decided to do exactly that recently when coming off the Leary Road, he came very close to hitting my car. No sirens, no lights. What was the big emergency that made it OK to do that to me and my children?
